We start the rental season around Swedish Midsummer towards the end of June when the water is warmer and wet suit no longer is required. The season ends 1 September. Paddlers with prior experience may rent outside these dates.

The kayaks are collected between 9 am and 11 am and returned between 5 pm and 6 pm. Halfday rent is also possible. We try to be flexible if the timings don’t work for you.

The sea kayak is delivered with a paddle, life jacket & spray skirt as well as a waterproof chart. If you don’t have experience with wet exit (capsize, loosen spray skirt and make your way out of the kayak), the kayak is delivered without spray skirt. In that case we recommend that you bring a pair of waterproof pants or shorts to keep yourself dry when water drips from the paddle or splashes from the waves (or borrow a pair from us).

We adjust the equipment, have a safety briefing and discuss suitable paddle routes before putting the kayak on a trolley and roll it down 150 meters to the strait between Nordkoster and Sydkoster and help you get on your way. You can leave extra luggage behind if you like. Upon return, you clean the kayaks from sand and roll them back to the rental. Our kayaks are manufactured in Germany by the quality brand Prijon. Premium paddle (wing/euro/greenland) can be rented separately.
